The agency is working with a long standing client to recruit an experienced Injection Molding, Extrusion ,or Plastics Manufacturing leader to join their team on a permanent basis. This role would someone who is either currently in a supervisor role or ready for the next step in their career!

As the Nights Production Supervisor you will be instrumental in driving the success of our client’s production operations during the night shift. Your role encompasses a range of crucial responsibilities whilst managing a team of 2.

Role

· Precision Setup and Operation - Execute meticulous setup procedures for extrusion lines, ensuring alignment with precise customer specifications.

· Operate and troubleshoot a variety of equipment, including extruders, controls, cooling baths, and OD gauges, with a keen eye for detail and efficiency.

· Tooling Expertise - Skilfully install and adjust tooling components such as pins, dies, heads, and screens, optimizing equipment performance and product quality.

· Material Mastery - Demonstrate expertise in material handling by accurately weighing, mixing, and managing materials according to production work orders, maintaining a seamless flow of raw materials throughout operations.

· Quality Assurance Leadership - Uphold our clients uncompromising commitment to quality by closely monitoring production processes and conducting regular inspections of finished products to ensure adherence to stringent quality standards.

· Shift Supervision and Collaboration - Lead the night shift with confidence and professionalism, fostering a collaborative and cohesive team environment.

Requirements

· Ideally you will possess plastics manufacturing experience with focus on extrusion or injection molding processes.

· Demonstrate physical capability to frequently lift and move objects weighing up to 15kg, and occasionally up to 25kg.
